Fill your cup first, and then give from your overflow…
The style of yoga I teach is very gentle and is suitable for anyone from the beginner to more advanced student. While different styles of yoga will suit you at various stages of your life, the emphasise of my classes is mindfulness and deep yoga relaxation, as a way to restore balance (health).

My Approach
Yoga and meditation can be a serious business, but I bring a light-hearted and nurturing approach to my classes.
My classes are influenced by my knowledge of naturopathy, and include information on topics related to health, personal development and deepening our connection to our sense of spirit and self. My aim is to help you deeply relax your body and mind so you may feel energised and calm.
Why Yoga?
You may be confused by the enormous variations in yoga styles. A good tip is to remember that ‘Hatha’ yoga is the cover-all, and represents all physical styles of yoga involved practices to unite mind, body and spirit.
From a naturopathic point of view Hatha yoga works wonderfully to bring the nervous system back into balance. It down-regulates the sympathetic nervous system which is our ‘fight-flight’ response while up-regulating the parasympathetic nervous system which promotes rest, restoration, digestion and reproduction.
